Daughter and spiders

Well, we finally made it back from camping and thought we were free from the animals. Apparently - not if you are my daughter. We were all settled down for the night, the boy sleeping soundly and I was picking up my book to calm my brain before bed. The husband was snoring when I heard a scream and the squeak of the girl's bed (she has a loft bed close to the ceiling) followed by the pounding of feet as she cam downstairs to our bedroom!

Guess what ? It was a spider and like many of you like Fiddledeedee you are scared of even the sight of one. She tried to kill it, but missed and it fell on her in her bed - thus the screaming and running. I was not so compassionate - I told her that it was gone, but no go! She slept on the floor and had to be convinced in the morning that the spider was gone! Life is never dull.

Thanks for reading!
